The Turtle and the Flood

Published in 2023, The Turtle and the Flood was written by Jackie French as a companion piece to her wonderful story, The Fire Wombat. In this story Jackie again looks at how our native animals overcome adversity brought on by natural disaster /// The Turtle and the Flood won the 2024 ACT Literary Award, in the children’s picture book category, and was shortlisted for the 2024 Wilderness Society Environment Award for Children’s Literature.
